Everyone has their go-to pairs of jeans. The ones that are the most comfortable, you feel the best in and are super soft from all the washes. These are one of mine. Y’all see me wearing the lighter washed distressed version of these often, but for whatever reason, I haven’t shared these much. I used to only wear skinny jeans, but after introducing the straight leg into my wardrobe, they have quickly become a staple. I feel like the straight leg is the skinny jean’s casual cousin. The skinny is still my go-to when dressing up, but there is something great about a straight leg jean, a cozy sweater and sneakers or loafers. Effortless yet still put together. I recommend trying a straight leg if you haven’t already!

Just in case you needed a little spring inspo on this Monday morning! After a week of freezing temps, we now have beautiful sunny and 75 degree weather here in Dallas. That’s Texas for you! I’m over layers and snow boots and ready to move into sandals and sundresses. I decided to style a few spring looks to get you ready for the warmer weather ahead! Many of these pieces can be transitioned from winter to spring just depending on how you style them. Have fun shopping!

I’d also love these two tops paired with white jeans – another easy way to brighten up a winter to spring look.

Pastels scream spring, and these dresses are no different! Of course you can dress them both down with a flat sandal and denim jacket.

I love a beige or ivory jean as opposed to a white jean. These are a great way to add another neutral pair to your closet without them being white or a light wash.

Have you heard what Gen Z is saying?? They claim skinny jeans aren’t cool anymore, and I’m here to tell you they are wrong! Not all jean styles are flattering on every body type, but you know what you feel best in. Don’t let the kids tell you otherwise! I love a skinny jean especially if I’m wearing something blousy on top. My rule of thumb is to wear something fitted on top if I’m wearing a loose bottom and vice versa. I hope this encourages you to keep doing you!
Happy Friday, friends! I hope you have a great weekend!
While I sit here in the middle of a snow storm with spotty wifi and cell service, I can’t help but dream of spring and warmer temperatures, so I decided to put together outfits I wish I was wearing. I hope you enjoy these as much as I did making them!
My goal is to create more of these collages in the future to inspire both you and me! Thanks for stopping by!

A little pattern mixing never hurt nobody!!
Each piece of this outfit is a classic, yet all together, they feel new and fresh! I’ve had the sweater, coat and skort for at least a year, but this is the first time I’m putting them all together. I love reimagining items I’ve had in my closet and making them feel new again.
Now, let’s see what you can come up with in your closet! Ready, set, go!

The color makes me happy and the material keeps me warm – great for someone who stays cold like me! It’s on sale, but hurry, because it is selling out fast.

Happy Wednesday and Happy Christmas Eve Eve! I can’t believe we are just a couple of days away from Christmas.
I feel like I haven’t shown y’all many styled looks recently, so I was glad my girl, Allie, could take these photos for me! I love that this dress gives the illusion of a sweater and skirt but is in fact one piece. It’s super comfortable and can be easily dressed up and down. I’ve worn it with heels, booties and sneakers! Click the links above to see this dress and a couple of similar options that would be great for a low key New Year’s Eve!
Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you have a Merry Christmas! XO, MS

There are a few great Christmas gift ideas in this post including my new favorite sweatshirt! I’m especially obsessed with the puff sleeves. I feel like I’m wearing a blouse, but it’s really just a cozy sweatshirt with some style. This will make anyone’s work from home life feel a little more elevated.
Headbands, statement jewelry, sunglasses and sneakers also make great Christmas gifts!
I hope you had a great weekend! XO, MS

When I purchase an item that’s an investment piece, I want to make sure I have a variety of ways to wear it. I often think of this as cost per wear. The more often I wear the item, the more I get for my money. These boots were an investment, so I wanted to share a few ways I plan on wearing them this season.
Skinny Jeans & Boots

Tuck your go-to non distressed or distressed skinnies into these snakeskin boots. Add a cozy chunky sweater and of course a headband to complete the look!
Cotton Poplin Dress & Boots
| dress | headband | bag | boots |
Elevate these boots with a fun and festive dress – you know I love a statement sleeve. The color is perfect for the holidays too! Add a printed headband or a fun earring to complete this Thanksgiving outfit.
Sweater Dress & Boots

A sweater dress is always in style for the fall and winter. I love the look of this dress layered over the tall boots. When it gets a little chilly, layer this shearling teddy coat on top.
