Yesterday I went into Banana Republic for the first time in probably a decade. I remember my mom buying a BR trench coat when I was in middle school and blue suede loafers in New York. I was blown away by their pieces – the trendiness and bold colors and textures they have incorporated into their line. Who would have thought Banana would be so modern and chic.

Right now, almost everything is 40% off. I got an adorable skirt that will be featured soon and was tempted by a few pairs of trousers.
