Let me introduce you to my new favorite top! I haven’t shared anything new with you guys in awhile for a few reasons including I haven’t bought much lately (saving for wedding purchases) and haven’t been super inspired to create new outfit combinations either. I’m starting to pick up a few spring and summer pieces, and I’m feeling inspired by the beautiful sunshine we’ve had, both here in Dallas and in Memphis.

This blouse is one of my latest purchases, and of course it’s already almost sold out. Apparently other people love it too! I’ve linked some of my other favorite floral tops above, so you can recreate my look. Many have ruffles and fun collars – a Sanford Standard staple.

I styled this top back to my go-to straight leg jeans. If I haven’t convinced you to get these jeans yet, now is the time. I’ve worn them over the last year on a weekly basis. Check out other ways to wear them here and here. I rounded out the outfit with these comfy espadrille wedges, a statement earring and a small bag. Spring, I’m glad you’re here!

Thanks for stopping by! XO, MS

Ruffle Front Dress

You know I can’t turn down a good ruffle, and on top of that, this dress reminds me of a Sea New York piece but for a third of the price! This is a great dress to wear now through the fall but to bring back out for spring and summer. The sleeves, fabric and color make it a versatile piece!

You also need to check out my fabulous new earrings by Hazen & Co! These earrings are another piece that can be dressed up and down and worn all year long. I find myself investing in items that I can get the most mileage out of, and these earrings are definitely worth the investment! Not to mention the designer and owner of Hazen is the most wonderful human.

Bridal Luncheon Dress

This dress makes me happy! The bright colors, the ruffles and the puff sleeves are details I’m drawn to when shopping, and this dress has them all. I linked it above at a few different retailers that have it in varying sizes and price points.

I wore this outfit Friday for a dear friend’s bridal luncheon. A delicious meal at Al Biernat’s was the perfect way to kick off her wedding weekend! If only we could do it all over again!!

Thanks for stopping by! I’ll be sharing my rehearsal dinner dress soon. XO, MS

A few of my favorite things

I’ve worn this blouse about 17 times since I got it… And that was last month. You can probably see why I like it so much. It’s different! The combination of many textures and patterns make this blouse a standout piece. I’m constantly on the hunt for something that not everyone has. Something with great detail. And I found it! See the different color ways linked above.

Consistent Staples

These are pieces that I have consistently worn over the last few months. They are basics, versatile and of course, adorned with ruffles. Sadly, my skirt and tee are no longer available, but I linked some similar and just as fabulous pieces. The jacket can be paired over just about anything including dresses and athleisure. I can’t wait to wear the skirt with sweaters and boots as it gets colder. My options are endless, and your’s can be too.

As you all know, I love a good deal. I found this romper at Saks Off Fifth and decided to wear it to a wedding last month. I was surprised to find that the romper was Kendall + Kylie’s brand because I don’t necessarily align my style with theirs. I just looked online at their newest season, and I love a lot of their pieces. It is definitely worth a look.

Spring it On

The majority of the outfits I put together on a regular basis mix brands, trends, and price points. You all know I love Zara, and you’ve probably realized by now that I also love nice things – don’t we all. If you don’t feel like committing to a trend, why not try it out by getting an inexpensive version. If you’re over it before the trend has even started, have no fear – you didn’t spend an arm and a leg. This blouse is from Zara, but you can find similar more expensive options on Shopbop and Revolve.

I’ve incorporated many of my favorite trends and pieces into this look. My coveted Old Navy denim vest goes with me everywhere, on every trip. I love ruffles and feminine details which are incorporated in both the blouse and pants. Lastly, gingham is one of my favorite patterns to wear. No matter if it’s small or bold, it makes a plain outfit not so plain.
