Happy Monday, friends! It was a beautiful day yesterday, so I spent a lot of my time outside reading Everybody Always by Bob Goff. If you haven’t read it, I highly recommend you do!

Now for the outfit details… I bought this top last fall, but I love that it can be worn any season. You can probably tell that I’ve been living in these jeans since I got them! The wash is perfect for spring and summer and well, any season for that matter. I linked an almost identical pair above, so you can recreate my look!

Thanks for stopping by!

Flower Power

As you know, I’m trying to incorporate more color and pattern into my wardrobe since I’ve been in a blue and white stripe rut for awhile. Typically, I stay away from florals (especially ones that include butterflies), but this top “spoke” to me. I got excited thinking about the different ways I could style it: this suede skirt of course, coated black skinny jeans, burgundy cords and the list goes on. The leg of mutton sleeves, the keyhole detail and the colorful print make this top a standout piece in my closet. Make your next purchase something you might not usually pick out!

Finally Fall…. I Think

Well there’s no surprise here, it’s still fairly hot in Texas. I’m dying to wear a sweater and boots without sweating, and it doesn’t appear like that’s going to happen anytime soon. This weekend we got a sneak preview of the weather that’s to come as Hurricane Patricia cooled things off. I don’t doubt we’ll see sunshine and heat waves again soon. For now, I’ll continue to wear dresses and sandals, maybe a sweater.
