Beach Babes

This past week I relaxed on the beach with some of my best buds from high school! I haven’t spent that much time with those girls since we were in school and oh, how I miss them. We always seem to pick right back up after being apart, and what a blessing that is.

The majority of our time was spent on the beach. I can’t believe I read two books and started a third – definitely a record for me. I read Almost Gone and The Woman in Cabin 10, and I highly recommend both. I’m super thankful for the two beach umbrellas and the chairs that our condo provided, which made six-hour beach days even more relaxing. I can’t wait to go back to 30A!

Florals, For Sure

I’ve been traveling more than usual, so that explains why my blog posts haven’t been as consistent. But now that I’m back, I wanted to share some fun pieces for spring.

First of all, florals and ruffles are HOT. Both of these trends are a must this spring and summer, so I’ve linked a few more of my favorites below. I’m also in-love with these white resin earrings! They pop against any hair color and match every outfit. Don’t forget to check out the embroidered straw clutch above. You can always count on Hazen and Co to spice up your accessory game.

As you all know, I love a good deal. I found this romper at Saks Off Fifth and decided to wear it to a wedding last month. I was surprised to find that the romper was Kendall + Kylie’s brand because I don’t necessarily align my style with theirs. I just looked online at their newest season, and I love a lot of their pieces. It is definitely worth a look.

A Splurge

I would first like to share that I am now an influencer on rewardStyle! I am beyond excited!!! You can shop my images directly from Instagram if you have the rewardStyle app. More info to come :).

I totally support splurging on pieces that will last a decade or so – a staple black dress, the perfect loafer, or a classic coat. One of my splurges has been this Hermes scarf. The colors and pattern are rich and just look luxurious. I let this piece stand out while keeping the rest of my outfit neutral.

You can find Hermes scarves at consignment stores with the tags still on, but you may have to hunt. I’ve tagged some of my favorites: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.

For the clutch, call Hazen Jewelry in Dallas to get your own!

Like I told y’all before, Margaret and I thoroughly enjoyed the Hazen Jewelry photo shoot. This was the second look of the day. Think luau meets summer pool party.

I have seen the palm pattern everywhere recently, so I tagged some of my favorites pieces featuring this pattern.

Hazen Jewelry is a jewelry line designed by SMU grad, Taylor Miller. Taylor created the line at an early age in 2002, inspired by her grandmother’s costume jewelry. She has unique pieces sold online, in boutiques around the country, and in her Dallas showroom.

My friend, Margaret and I had great fun modeling her jewelry in vintage Lilly Pulitzer. Taylor thought of everything when setting up the shoot, which is why the photos turned out amazingly. Shoutout to Rachel Heacox Films, as well.

If only we were actually in Palm Springs.
