Because of this, I decided to highlight their shoes as this week’s Friday Finds. I searched my favorite consignment retailers, and this is just a peak at what’s out there. Shopping consignment is a great way to buy into a trend without paying full price, and let’s be real, full price can be a lot.

Skirts can be hard to style. You want the perfect top to tuck in, to leave out or to sit right at the top of your waistband. I often avoid skirts unless I know I have that perfect top to pair back. I bought this skirt as a set to the matching blouse, BUT I hadn’t figured out what else to pair it with until I felt inspired by its texture. I tucked this old eyelet blouse into the skirt for the perfect work look.

I’m thankful I can wear most anything to work. “Athleisure Mondays” are the best because they make starting a new week a little easier. You can wear your favorite workout gear whether you’re an Adidas girl or love Lululemon. A fairly loose dress code also allows me to be creative. I can look like I have a “real” job and wear a blouse and trousers, OR I can wear my new wide-leg chambray pants and five inch platforms. I don’t think those would fly at JP Morgan.

I’ve been traveling more than usual, so that explains why my blog posts haven’t been as consistent. But now that I’m back, I wanted to share some fun pieces for spring.
