Just in case you needed a little spring inspo on this Monday morning! After a week of freezing temps, we now have beautiful sunny and 75 degree weather here in Dallas. That’s Texas for you! I’m over layers and snow boots and ready to move into sandals and sundresses. I decided to style a few spring looks to get you ready for the warmer weather ahead! Many of these pieces can be transitioned from winter to spring just depending on how you style them. Have fun shopping!

I’d also love these two tops paired with white jeans – another easy way to brighten up a winter to spring look.
| dress: 1 & 2 | heels | bag: 1 & 2 | earrings: 1 & 2 |
Pastels scream spring, and these dresses are no different! Of course you can dress them both down with a flat sandal and denim jacket.
| sweater | tee | blouse | jeans | headband | earrings | necklace | mules |
I love a beige or ivory jean as opposed to a white jean. These are a great way to add another neutral pair to your closet without them being white or a light wash.
| shirtdress: 1, 2, 3, 4 | sweater: 1, 2, 3, 4 | headband | mules: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 |
I love creating new outfits with old pieces. Each piece I’m wearing has been in my closet for at least a year, and in fact, I think I’ve had this shirtdress for four. You can count on a classic piece like this dress or this sweater to never go out of style. Sometimes the classics are worth spending a little bit more money on so that you get a quality piece that will last you for seasons.

Another SMU sporting event means another time to wear my favorite red and blue pieces. Unfortunately, the top and jeans can’t be found online anymore, but I linked similar products so that you can recreate my look! No need to be an SMU fan to wear red and blue either – it’s a classic combo!
Happy Friday Eve!

Last week we had picture day at work – kind of felt like middle school but with no uniform. Here I am in the working world, and I get to choose my own outfit. I wanted to put together something that showed my personality but was professional and spoke to all different styles. I want my clients to trust me as the expert.
This blazer was my first step in building the outfit. Why? Because what screams professional more than a blazer? Next, I chose the blouse because well, it was going to be a focal point in the photo too. It’s feminine and adds dimension and texture, so I thought it would pop against the black blazer. Lastly, I chose these coated jeans because they were a nice contrast to the feminine details in the blouse and the structured lines of the blazer, and of course I had to wear a headband. They have been staples in my wardrobe over the last 8 months!

Happy Friday, y’all! This week I’m highlighting the ease of a bodysuit because they can make an outfit look more seamless and put together. Of course, it can make going to the bathroom a little difficult as well if it doesn’t have snaps. I styled this one shoulder bodysuit with this high waisted skirt, so I didn’t have to worry about keeping a t-shirt tucked in. Everything stayed in its place all day long – no readjusting needed after an hour sitting at my desk. This look can also go day to night if I lose the loafer and denim jacket and add a heel.
Below, I’ve linked other bodysuits that can be paired with high waisted jeans, flirty skirts and your favorite paper bag shorts.
