This past weekend the fam celebrated my brother’s graduation from SMU. He earned a degree in finance and is now on the job hunt. You hiring?? 🙂 Now we’ve got three mustangs and a bulldog in the family!

We celebrated Myatt by eating at Dallas’ best. Friday night we dined at one of mom’s favorites – Neighborhood Services. The flatbread, steak, fish special and scampi didn’t disappoint. We capped the night off with the chocolate lava cape, aka the key to my heart. After dinner, the family headed to Baccalaureate where the students began their graduation weekend.

Saturday morning started off early with a 6 a.m. wakeup call to get a good seat at the all-school graduation. You’ve gotta be swift! The students threw their caps, and Randall Stephenson, 2018 commencement speaker and AT&T’s CEO, welcome them into the real world.

We finished graduation weekend with dinner at Sixty Vines, one of Dallas’ newest additions. The atmosphere is perfect with interesting architecture, 60 wines on tap and community style tables. You must get the cauliflower appetizer. I promise you won’t regret it.

If you’re headed to Dallas anytime soon, I recommend The Stoneleigh Hotel. My parents love it.

What a whirlwind weekend it’s been. Well, a 4 years for that matter. This weekend I graduated from Southern Methodist University and am moving to the next stage in my life. First stop – home. A time to reboot and hang out with my family.

Like I’ve told y’all before, I love the detail in Self Portrait dresses. I had trouble deciding between this and a few others, so I’ll link them below. Congratulations to those who graduated this month!
