I couldn’t be more excited about the latest Fanm Mon collection, Manmzel! We all know Fanm Mon for its beautiful embroidery and breezy linen fabrics, but the line introduced some new silhouettes that you don’t want to miss. After growing up in Haiti, Sophia, Fanm Mon’s founder, chose to create a fashion brand that blended nature, femininity and her culture. “Manmzel” means “her” in Creole, and this season she wants her collection to represent the true essence of a woman. I’d say she did that well!

I chose the Nazz dress for the puff sleeve, which we all know I love, in yellow, the color of the season. It’s not a color I choose often, but this combo felt like a cheerful addition to my wardrobe. Fanm Mon dresses are the perfect dresses for any celebration whether that’s a baby shower, engagement party or Mother’s Day — you’ll feel flawlessly feminine in any of her pieces!

Doesn’t this floral dress scream vacation?! I was lucky enough to tag along on Henry’s work trip to Mexico, and this dress was perfect for our oceanside dinner. Linen is key for the hot temperatures here in Texas and in Mexico or wherever your travels may take you. Catch me in this dress all summer long with sandals, sneakers and heels. It’s one of those pieces you can easily elevate or make casual depending on your agenda!

Let me tell you about the easiest summer dress! The lightweight material and the soft stripe are the perfect combination for all your summer activities. I paired it here with my go-to espadrille, but this dress will also be great with a flat sandal. You could even make this look more casual with a denim jacket. Wear this dress right into the fall with a camel leather jacket and bootie. If you can’t tell, I’m all about options and versatility!

Hi friends! I shared this skirt briefly with you guys a week or so ago, but I wanted to share with you how I would style it for warmer weather. In Chicago, I styled this skirt with a cream sweater and a pair of booties because, yes, it’s still cold, but in San Diego, I had the opportunity to style it for the warmer weather. I tucked my go-to white tee into the tiered midi skirt and layered a denim jacket on top. I then added by favorite gold accessories, of course, a headband and a pair of espadrilles. Who knew this skirt would be such a great transitional piece?!

Hawaii Look #5

This is my final round up from our honeymoon on Lanai (insert crying emoji)! I don’t get to relive this trip with y’all anymore, but I appreciate you being on this journey with me. It’s been fun! Can you believe I’m not wearing a puffy sleeve? Somehow every other outfit I packed incorporated this trend. Cleary I like it! This dress is by one of my new favorite designers, and unfortunately, it’s almost sold out. BUT next to dresses, I linked ten of my other favorites from this line, so check them out! Hello from Hawaii again! Today, I’m sharing my fourth look of the trip and what might be my favorite. It’s hard for me to resist a puffy sleeve, as you can tell from my last three honeymoon looks. I love this dress for many reasons, but I really appreciate when a piece can be worn a variety of ways. I can wear this with a dressy heel and clutch for a summer wedding or dress it down with a pair of sneakers and my hair in a ponytail. Your options are endless with a piece like this! Bride Inspiration: white lace dress

Y’all are probably tired of seeing me in white dresses by now, but don’t worry, in 25 days I’ll add a little more variety to my wardrobe! Hint hint wedding day is fast approaching! I found this dress on sale when Henry and I visited Chicago back in January, and I had to pounce. I have dreamed of wearing something by this designer during our engagement season, so I couldn’t pass this dress up. An extra special dress for an extra special season.

I wore this outfit on my bachelorette trip this weekend, and I definitely felt like a bride. Of course, the “soon-to-be bride” sash and veil helped – shout out to my moh, Margaret, for all the gear! Although this dress is almost sold out, I linked some other white dresses by this designer for you to check out. I hope you find something you love!

Floral blouse + headband

It’s funny because I used to never wear florals or busy prints other than stripes, and now I can’t stop buying them! I love that this top is slightly cropped so that it sits nicely at the top of high waisted jeans and my most narrow point. I find that shorter blouses are more flattering on my body type than those that hit at the top of the thigh. Style tip: if you have a smaller waist and bigger bum/thigh area, try out a shorter top to accentuate your waist. If you don’t have a shorter option, front tuck a blouse into a high waisted jean to give the same effect. Let me know if you try this out and like it!

White Spring Dresses

Like I’ve mentioned before, white dresses have been on my mind. With our wedding fast approaching, I’ve purchased a few for different events we’ve had throughout our engagement. I wore this one last weekend to a tea in Memphis with sweet friends and family. I love the detailing and the way it fits, and although it’s sold out, I found a few similar options for you.

I am also wearing two pieces that were made by friends! How cool is it that I get to share some of their creations!! The headband was handmade by a friend I went to high school with. Floral Embroidered Top

Let me introduce you to my new favorite top! I haven’t shared anything new with you guys in awhile for a few reasons including I haven’t bought much lately (saving for wedding purchases) and haven’t been super inspired to create new outfit combinations either. I’m starting to pick up a few spring and summer pieces, and I’m feeling inspired by the beautiful sunshine we’ve had, both here in Dallas and in Memphis.

This blouse is one of my latest purchases, and of course it’s already almost sold out. Apparently other people love it too! I’ve linked some of my other favorite floral tops above, so you can recreate my look. Many have ruffles and fun collars – a Sanford Standard staple.

I styled this top back to my go-to straight leg jeans. If I haven’t convinced you to get these jeans yet, now is the time. I’ve worn them over the last year on a weekly basis.
