Spring calls for colorful dresses to match the blooming flowers! I ordered a few dresses for upcoming events, and this one was too good not to share. I love that the self-belt cinches your waist while the skirt and sleeves are still flowy. I styled the dress with gold jewelry and neutral accessories to complete the perfect brunch, Easter Sunday or bridal shower look.

You know I can’t turn down a good ruffle, and on top of that, this dress reminds me of a Sea New York piece but for a third of the price! This is a great dress to wear now through the fall but to bring back out for spring and summer. The sleeves, fabric and color make it a versatile piece!
You also need to check out my fabulous new earrings by Hazen & Co! These earrings are another piece that can be dressed up and down and worn all year long. I find myself investing in items that I can get the most mileage out of, and these earrings are definitely worth the investment! I envisioned wearing this fall dress with camel booties (these, these or these), but because it was 80 degrees in Houston the night I wore this dress, I opted for sandals. We got a glimpse of chilly weather yesterday, so I hope that means boots are in my future!
Do you prefer fall or summer clothes? I think I typically prefer summer because clothes are designed with such happy patterns and colors, but for some reason, I’m really itching to wear fall gear this year and leave the summer clothes behind.

Y’all have most likely seen this dress before on the blog, but if not, I’ll give you a little background. I worked at Tibi in New York the summer before my senior year of college. Of course, I fell in love with the brand, and my obsession began. I bought this dress that summer, so every time I wear it, I think of that fun experience!
