Whenever Henry and I go out in Chicago, I feel like my wardrobe is lacking the edge that every other girl is seamlessly pulling off. Let’s be real, I’ll never be edgy, but I can add a piece here and there that will help me fit in. Ha ha! The first thing I added was these faux leather pants that I can dress up and down. I love them casually here with a sweater and sneakers, but I’ve also worn them with a dressier sweater and heels for dinner. Because they are faux leather, I didn’t spend a ton on something I probably wouldn’t wear as much in Dallas. I will say, these are super comfortable if you’re looking to add something like this to your wardrobe!

I get cold pretty easily, so instead of breaking out these booties in the 30 degree temperature (that we don’t have often), these suckers make a statement when it’s 60 degrees. Dress them down with your leggings and puffy coat or up with a relaxed midi dress. What I’m trying to say is, don’t save these booties for the snow! There are way too many ways to wear them!!

Happy Memorial Day, friends! I hope you are all enjoying your day off. I’m hoping to relax by the pool and do a little housekeeping. What are your plans today?

Another consignment find!

Hi friends! As you all know now, I love consignment shopping, and this skirt is one of my latest finds. It retails for over $1,600, and I only paid $100! That’s over 90% off!! I definitely gave myself a pat on the back for this one. I paired it with a tee and sandals for a casual work look, but I can also pair it back to a silk blouse and heel for a nicer occasion.

There’s nothing better than a crisp winter white. This coat is one of my favorite additions to my fall and winter wardrobe. I love that it incorporates the bomber trend with the same collar and wrist details, too. The windowpane pattern is neutral enough to be paired with other patterns as shown above, and I can’t wait to share with you the other ways I wear this coat.

So, I love consignment stores. You can find some of the greatest and most unique items with just a little searching. My favorite consignment stores in Dallas are Luxury Garage Sale and To Be Continued (where my mom and I found this tee). I’ve purchased Hermes scarves, a Derek Lam dress and Mother denim overalls, and I paid less than half the price of retail! Consignment stores are also a great way to get rid of items you don’t wear anymore, and make a little cash too. I’ve attached standout items from these stores below:

From Santa

First of all, guys, this is a big moment. I’m not wearing anything by Zara.

Santa surprised me with a few stellar pieces to build my wardrobe. I love the bomber trend but don’t love how the fluffy material makes me look fluffy too. This bomber from Shopbop is a thin silky material, which takes the shape of your body. And, this color is so rich that I’ll pair it with all neutrals.

The flannel booties were also under the Christmas tree. I’m OBSESSED. I first laid eyes on these beauties this summer while working for Tibi, and they made their way into my closet 6 months later. You might get sick of seeing them on me, but I won’t.
