I love that it’s a little different from my go-to style — more modern and less feminine than what you usually see me in. Switching things up is always fun! Hi, friends! What a doozy the last couple of weeks have been in the Chicago area. (I probably sound like a broken record.) We’ve had snowfall after snowfall, and the sun has made very few appearances. I’m itching for a warm sunny day, but I know we aren’t getting those for awhile. Instead, I’m creating my own sunshine with these white jeans and this floral top. This is the second Andion top (the first) I’ve shown you this year – such a special Spanish line I’ve come to love. All White, Winter White

There is just something so fresh about a winter white look. It brightens things up on a cold and dreary day when sunshine and warm weather can be away. When styling an all white look, you can mix both crisp whites and ivories like I have here. Don’t worry if your whites don’t match perfectly!

I’m obsessed with my new ivory sherpa coat that completes this winter white look. I’ve worn my brown version over and over again, so I figured with a long winter ahead, I could invest in another color way. Not to mention how warm this coat is and that it’s on sale!

Floral blouse + headband

It’s funny because I used to never wear florals or busy prints other than stripes, and now I can’t stop buying them! I love that this top is slightly cropped so that it sits nicely at the top of high waisted jeans and my most narrow point. I find that shorter blouses are more flattering on my body type than those that hit at the top of the thigh. Style tip: if you have a smaller waist and bigger bum/thigh area, try out a shorter top to accentuate your waist. If you don’t have a shorter option, front tuck a blouse into a high waisted jean to give the same effect. Let me know if you try this out and like it!

Puff Sleeve Sweatshirt

There are a few great Christmas gift ideas in this post including my new favorite sweatshirt! I’m especially obsessed with the puff sleeves. I feel like I’m wearing a blouse, but it’s really just a cozy sweatshirt with some style. This will make anyone’s work from home life feel a little more elevated.

I’m highlighting a couple of small businesses today that I love. First up is The Pink Reef who designed the most fabulous turquoise earrings I’m wearing. They are super lightweight and perfect for any season. I can definitely see myself dressing them up with a cocktail dress too. Check out her site and the other beautiful earrings she has created. You can’t go wrong with eyelet and white jeans in the summer, and they are even better together!

I’m happy to be back in Dallas after two weeks away! Vacation is wonderful and these trips were amazing, but I do love a routine. I traveled to the Snowmass/Aspen area with Henry’s family, to Watersound beach with high school friends and finally to Park City for a bachelorette celebration! Spending this week with my high school girls in one of my favorite places couldn’t make me happier! So far we’ve spent lazy days on the beach, brunched at Great Southern Cafe in Seaside and celebrated our girl Allie’s 26th birthday with pizza on the porch!
