I don’t know about you, but this spring is full of events, which means I’ve got lots of dressing up to do! I wore this blue floral dress last week to a rehearsal dinner, and it really got me excited for all of the colorful prints this season. Goodbye drab winter colors! Lucky for you, it’s now on sale at a few retailers! Snag it while all sizes are still available. If you need more spring and summer dress inspiration, head to my LTK profile. I save all of my favorites there!

Meet my new favorite dress! Isn’t she fantastic? When I came upon this dress, I knew I had to have her and would find an occasion for her later. We had our friends’ wedding this weekend in Virginia, and this was the first thing I packed.
A big part of building my wardrobe has been mixing high and low pieces. Not everything has to be a name brand or of a certain price point, but instead, I focus on purchasing things I absolutely love and filling in the gaps with less expensive items. For example, I splurged on this dress but found these simple gold heels and this fun bag at great prices to complete my look. I can’t wait to wear this again!
It’s always a great time when one of your best friends gets married! Henry and I were both in the wedding and loved celebrating the happy couple. Not to mention, the Oregon wine country is just beautiful! I wore this light blue dress for the rehearsal dinner that was hosted at Tumwater Vineyard – tasty wines and stunning scenery. My parents, H and I were also able to sneak away to Domaine Serene Winery for another tasting. If you ever find yourself in Portland, I definitely recommend visiting these two spots!
Henry and I celebrated the marriage of one of his longtime friends this past weekend, and we had the best time! I have loved getting to know his hometown friends, the people that know him the best and the longest. It made me even more excited for our wedding and all of our favorite people getting together in one place, my favorite place to be exact! Memphis.
Dressing up made this weekend fun too. One of the reasons I love using Rent the Runway is getting to try something new or something I would not have purchased at full price. This dress is a great example of that. It retails for almost $500, but I rented it for $65. In fact, it came with the tags still on!
I’ve linked this dress plus a few others I love and my accessories! Check them out.
Another beautiful couple is married! My girl, May, married her guy, William this weekend in Memphis. What a joy it was to be a part of their intimate ceremony. New and old friends gathered to celebrate them, and I walked away realizing just how loved they are and how well they love others. Cheers to the Clinkscales!
I bought this dress awhile back, so I linked similar dresses by the same designer. I also linked this exact dress on consignment sites.
Congratulations to the Vanns! It was so fun to be home with new and old friends from Dallas and Memphis as we celebrated Callie and Keaton. The wedding was black tie optional, so I opted for this short dress and metallic shoe combo. Unfortunately, this is the best picture I got of the dress, but click the links above for more detail! It was super comfortable and feels appropriate for many different occasions. Highly recommend!! I also recommend sizing a half size up in these heels.
A couple weeks back, I gave y’all two tips to consignment shopping. I mentioned a beautiful dress I found with no special occasion in mind. I scored a great price and couldn’t leave the store without it! Well, this is the dress, and sure enough, we had a wedding to attend a couple of months later!
