How do y’all feel about the pajama trend? I know I’m a little late to the party, but I’m digging it – especially this pink and orange combo. You can also get the matching blazer and shorts. I’ve worn a gold espadrille and a cognac suede block heel with this look, but in Mexico, you can go shoeless 🙂

First of all, how dreamy is this backdrop? Hotel Esencia, just north of Tulum, Mexico, is the most serene place I’ve ever stayed. Iguanas greeted me every morning on my doorstep, and the private beach was only steps away. I can’t talk about this place without mentioning the five star service and the kind people who work there. I already miss Jorge’s and Rojo’s smiling faces!!
Now onto my outfit… This was the perfect dress to bring to Mexico. It was not only breathable in the intense heat but mimicked the embroidery you find on traditional Mexican dresses. I paired it with the orange straw bag and my tried and true gold espadrilles. What am I going to do when these fall apart?

I don’t wear a lot of red, but when I stumbled upon this dress at one of my favorite consignment stores, I had to have it. I love the asymmetrical lines, the bright bold colors and the silk material. Not to mention, I got it for over 75% off, and it still had the tags attached! That’s a win in my book! I wasn’t able to find the dress online, but I found some other fun options by the same designer, DVF.

Of course, I fell in love with the brand, and my obsession began. I bought this dress that summer, so every time I wear it, I think of that fun experience!

Y’all must have these denim shorts!! They couldn’t be more comfortable or have a better fit. First of all, I love the length. You won’t have to worry about your hinny hanging out. I also love that they are fitted in the waist but roomier in the thigh. I can’t stand a tight denim short. I’ve been searching for the perfect pair for seasons and finally found these shorts last weekend. I’ve linked the exact pair, so you can get your own.
