Just think of them as a blank canvas! You can style an all white look, pair them with your brightest floral, your softest pastel or a structured black blazer for four completely different outfits. As you can see, I love a feminine blouse, so that’s what is mainly shown below!

Well, she may be on to something. I definitely go for a more matronly look sometimes, and I’m not sure why. Maybe it’s because I love feminine details – ruffles, bows, girly prints…
There is something so great about a collar. You can pop it, lock it, polka dot it. Sorry, I just had to. But, it brings sophistication to most any look. Nowadays you can even buy a removable collar to put on any shirt you own. You can pop it for a preppy look. You can use it as a placeholder for a scarf or necklace, and you can fold it over any sweater for added texture and pattern.

The first blouse can be layered with any sweater to get that preppy back-to-school look. You can also layer a sweater over the striped dress. A flannel is always a good staple to have in your wardrobe, and once again can be layered or worn front tucked with jeans and booties. Lastly, a chambray is a must and the bell sleeves make this blouse more unique.
