16 tops to wear with white jeans

We all know that white jeans are a staple for the spring and summer, so I’m highlighting some of my favorite tops to style with them. You can wear almost anything with your white jeans. Just think of them as a blank canvas! You can style an all white look, pair them with your brightest floral, your softest pastel or a structured black blazer for four completely different outfits. As you can see, I love a feminine blouse, so that’s what is mainly shown below!

Friday Finds: Summer Bags

Update your spring wardrobe with one of these fresh bags! It doesn’t have to be designer, and you don’t have to spend a lot to be on trend. One of my favorite bags is this round straw tote I bought last year, featured here and here! It’s the perfect neutral that goes with everything. You can do the same with one of the bags below!

Budget Friendly Booties

I love elevating a look with a pair of booties. They give you height, spunk and texture that a flat can’t give you and a tall boot would overkill. A pair of tan suede booties is the ultimate transeasonal staple. There is no doubt you will wear this shoe over and over.

Add a trendy pair to your closet this season by including a patent, print or velvet to liven up a fall look. Picture this: a black chunky sweater, black distressed skinny jeans and an animal printed bootie. What a cool look! How about a boho printed dress with an olive suede bootie? These shoes will take you from day to night, no problem!

One of your summer staples should be a white dress! This look takes little thought, and dresses give you the breeze you need in the summer heat. I love the ease of throwing on a dress before work and the minimal amount of time it takes to get ready. These dresses can also be dressed up or down. Casual Sunday afternoon: wear a sandal. Fancy Thursday night: wear a nude heel.

If you need a refresh or just want to add another to your wardrobe, you’ve come to the right place! I’ve found beautiful options at all price points. Can you tell I love ruffles and bows?

Happy shopping, and don’t forget to share this with a friend!

Pop It, Lock It, Polka Dot It

“I love a good collar,” I exclaimed. My coworker responded, “Wow, I can’t wait to see you when you’re old.”

Well, she may be on to something. I definitely go for a more matronly look sometimes, and I’m not sure why. Maybe it’s because I love feminine details – ruffles, bows, girly prints…

There is something so great about a collar. You can pop it, lock it, polka dot it. Sorry, I just had to. But, it brings sophistication to most any look. Nowadays you can even buy a removable collar to put on any shirt you own. You can pop it for a preppy look. You can use it as a placeholder for a scarf or necklace, and you can fold it over any sweater for added texture and pattern.

Below I’ve tagged some of my favorite collared blouses and removable collars to add to your next outfit.

White Layering Blouse | Collared Stripe Dress | Plaid Blouse | Chambray

The first blouse can be layered with any sweater to get that preppy back-to-school look. You can also layer a sweater over the striped dress. A flannel is always a good staple to have in your wardrobe, and once again can be layered or worn front tucked with jeans and booties. Lastly, a chambray is a must and the bell sleeves make this blouse more unique.

Bow Tie Ready

I’ve had this romper for awhile now, and I’m constantly trying to create new looks with it. Since it is a blank canvas, the pairing options are endless. I’ve worn the romper with a denim vest and adidas, wedges and chunky earrings and now with mule espadrilles and a neckerchief, among other things. Like I mentioned in Friday Finds a few weeks ago, be bold and try out the neckerchief.
