Spring it On

The majority of the outfits I put together on a regular basis mix brands, trends, and price points. You all know I love Zara, and you’ve probably realized by now that I also love nice things – don’t we all. If you don’t feel like committing to a trend, why not try it out by getting an inexpensive version. If you’re over it before the trend has even started, have no fear – you didn’t spend an arm and a leg. This blouse is from Zara, but you can find similar more expensive options on Shopbop and Revolve.

I’ve incorporated many of my favorite trends and pieces into this look. My coveted Old Navy denim vest goes with me everywhere, on every trip. I love ruffles and feminine details which are incorporated in both the blouse and pants. Lastly, gingham is one of my favorite patterns to wear. No matter if it’s small or bold, it makes a plain outfit not so plain.

No dress code, no problem… I found great fun deciding what to wear each day to work. With few limitations, I got to be creative and get inspiration from the people with which I worked.

There was no shortage of art and culture in the city. The Met, The MOMA, and The Whitney are all worth a visit.

These shoes were a lifesaver for Margaret and me. I don’t think we could’ve walked the miles we did in our sandals and loafers. We hated ourselves for following the Adidas trend for the first couple of days, but then we got over it.

Well, you know me and murals. Had to find at least one while I was in town.

A Saturday filled with good food and sunshine – what more could I ask for! Pull out those fancy pants that feel just like your favorite pjs and bounce around town. These pants have become one of my favorite pieces and can’t wait to wear them more and more.

A Popsicle Kind of Day

First, let me start off by saying that everyone MUST try the new cookie popsicles at Steel City Pops – my life is now changed after the brownie and chocolate combo. Moving on to more important things, I am obsessed with these espadrilles. After receiving them as a gift, I’ve walked through Fall, Winter, Spring, and will carry them into Summer. I love this casual look and will definitely be sporting this while studying in London.

My Love for Booties

You can never have too many pairs of booties. This pair in particular has walked me through Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter and back again. You might be able to tell from the worn down toes. I also find myself being drawn to button downs, no matter the size, color, or fit. Stripes, polka dots and pops of color add variety to this constant theme. Enjoy!
