“Lizzie McGuire, you are an outfit repeater!” I love this dress so much that I’ve worn it the last three out of four weekends for different wedding related events. Behind my wedding and rehearsal dinner dresses, this might be my next favorite. Gosh, I just love it. Typically I wouldn’t spend this much on a dress, but I knew that I would have quite a few opportunities to wear it coming up.
I had trouble finding the perfect shoe to go with it, though. Obviously, the dress is the statement, so I wanted to find a heel that was sleek and comfortable. My black heels felt too harsh against the green, and my white heels felt too summery. Since I splurged on the dress, I didn’t want to splurge on my heels too. I’m pleased with how this look came together!

This might be my favorite summer dress yet! I love the puff sleeves, the ties at the bust and the longer length. In the summer, especially in this Texas heat, I don’t love a bunch of fabric touching me. Easy and breezy are key characteristics when searching for summer clothes, and this dress checks all the boxes.
I wore this dress for Father’s Day and dressed it up with my wedding heels and pearl accessories. You can also style it with a pair of espadrilles or strappy sandals. I own both of these and wear them ALL. THE. TIME. If you’re looking to update your spring/summer shoe game, you can’t go wrong with all three of these. All neutral colors that can be worn with everything. Mileage is another key characteristic when choosing pieces to add to my wardrobe.

Hello from Hawaii again! Today, I’m sharing my fourth look of the trip and what might be my favorite. It’s hard for me to resist a puffy sleeve, as you can tell from my last three honeymoon looks. I love this dress for many reasons, but I really appreciate when a piece can be worn a variety of ways. I can wear this with a dressy heel and clutch for a summer wedding or dress it down with a pair of sneakers and my hair in a ponytail. Your options are endless with a piece like this! This dress makes me happy! The bright colors, the ruffles and the puff sleeves are details I’m drawn to when shopping, and this dress has them all. I linked it above at a few different retailers that have it in varying sizes and price points.
I wore this outfit Friday for a dear friend’s bridal luncheon. A delicious meal at Al Biernat’s was the perfect way to kick off her wedding weekend! If only we could do it all over again!!

You know I love ruffles, so the fact that I love this dress shouldn’t surprise you! It just makes me happy. It also allowed me to eat lots of yummy food on vacation! No tight clothes here!!
Henry and I spent the week in Colorado with his family, and we had a blast. The fact that we could walk outside and not instantly sweat was life giving. We hiked, rode horses and enjoyed the delicious food and adorable restaurants in Aspen. I can’t wait to go back!

A dress and sneakers: one of my favorite combinations. I love the mix of femininity with a sporty edge. Of course, sneakers make every outfit more comfortable too. Since I’m on my feet almost all day at work, I try to wear sneakers as much as possible. Style one of your favorite dresses with sneakers, and see how you like the combo! You may never look back.

One of my coworkers told me I was channeling my inner Laura Ingalls Wilder with this look, and you know, I’m not mad about it. I wouldn’t mind running through a field of lush grass with a basket in tow.
I love the special details on this dress from the eyelet embroidery, ribbon cinched waist and the scalloped trim. You can’t get more feminine than this! I love a bright colored midi dress for summer! They are great for brunches with friends, backyard cookouts and happy hours on the patio. I got this one a few weeks ago from Zara, but of course, it looks like it has already sold out. I’ve linked some of my other favorites below, and guess what?? They’re all below $200!
