The Versatility of Coated Jeans

Hi friends! I’ve been living in my black faux leather pants this winter, so I decided to add something similar to my wardrobe in brown. These coated kick flares are super comfortable, and I love that they can be dressed up and down. I styled them here with a leopard blouse and silver slingbacks for a festive Christmas dinner, but they’ll go perfectly with a cozy sweater and sneakers too. I don’t know about you, but when I shop, I try to envision all the ways I can wear an item to ensure I’m making a good purchase. These definitely were a good purchase, and I plan on wearing them again tomorrow!

I hope you have a wonderful Wednesday! XO, MS

Even though we’ve only had a handful of chilly days, I’ve managed to break this sweater out at least three times. The bell sleeve, mock neck and fringed detail just makes me happy. I often feel suffocated in turtlenecks, so this is a nice compromise.

I’ve styled this sweater a couple of different ways. You can always count on a “front tuck” to pull a look together (seen above). I added the suede skirt and leopard booties for texture and contrast. I’ve also paired this sweater with distressed blue jeans and a blanket scarf. Take note, I did purchase a size large because I wanted the oversized look and feel.
