Camel Suede Jacket + Blue Jeans

You really can’t go wrong with blue jeans and a camel jacket or coat in the fall. They are such a classic and neutral combo. This jacket is a piece I picked up from Luxury Garage Sale a few years back, and it has been a staple in my wardrobe ever since. Because this jacket is no longer sold, I linked another camel suede option I love as well.

When shopping for great pieces, don’t forget to check out consignment stores because you never know what you might find! I got this jacket at a fraction of its original retail price.

Happy Monday, and thanks for stopping by! XO, MS

Like I’ve said before, this light blue leather jacket has quickly become one of my favorite pieces! Not only is it the perfect weight for Dallas fall weather, the color surprisingly goes with everything, and I usually just treat it as a neutral. I love the contrast here against the burnt orange cords and the coordinating cool tones when styled with this dress and this skirt.

Trying styling unexpected colors and textures this week, and see what works! You might be surprised!

Mad for Plaid

Happy Monday!! I hope you all had a great weekend. My roommates and I spent the weekend packing up our apartment in anticipation of our move this week. “Moving is fun!” said no one ever. I can’t wait to be unpacked and settled in our new place this coming week.

Now onto more exciting things: my outfit. I love a mini dress and over-the-knee boot combination. It’s a classic fall go-to that can be recreated many different ways. I picked up this plaid dress at Zara while in Chicago visiting my brother. This leather jacket is a vintage piece from my mom’s closet that I snagged while home a few weeks ago. She doesn’t wear it anymore, so now I get to! I received these suede boots last year for Christmas and what a staple they are. Wear them with jeans, tights and dresses or skirts – basically your entire winter wardrobe. I linked the exact pair plus a budget friendly option.

I hope y’all have a great week. Let me know if there is anything you would like for me to post about!

Since we’ve been in London, we have explored many of the diverse markets, each having its own personality and crowd. This weekend at the Camden Market, Margaret and I decided to purchase handmade “friendship bracelets” – something I haven’t worn in a long time. Margaret, as a lyrical genius, devoted meaning to each charm. My personal favorite, the star charm, represents the Shakespeare quote from Julius Caesar, “The Fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars, but in ourselves.”
