He is risen indeed! I hope everyone had a happy Easter with family and friends. I was in Memphis this weekend, and I had to best time with Henry, my fam and high school friends. I LOVE being home with my people!

These shoes are my favorites from last year, so I linked this year’s version. This might have to be my favorite dress I own. I love the details incorporated from the ruffled shoulder to the built-in choker. Unfortunately, this designer, Alexis, is typically on the pricier end, but you’re in luck! I found similar options on Rent the Runway and on the Outnet. These would be perfect for a wedding or a night out.

Also, happy 2nd birthday to the blog! I’ve loved every second of sharing my favorite pieces with you all!

I love the unique dresses that Self Portrait makes, each incorporating many textures and fabrics. His dresses are unlike any other line which makes me love them even more. This dress originally had cap sleeves, but I decided to cut them off and add the lace detail to allow more movement. I also added a slit in the skirt. I can’t wait to wear this dress again, and I’m hoping another Self Portrait purchase is in my future.

Since we’ve been in London, we have explored many of the diverse markets, each having its own personality and crowd. This weekend at the Camden Market, Margaret and I decided to purchase handmade “friendship bracelets” – something I haven’t worn in a long time. Margaret, as a lyrical genius, devoted meaning to each charm. My personal favorite, the star charm, represents the Shakespeare quote from Julius Caesar, “The Fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars, but in ourselves.”
