Typically I wouldn’t wear two animal prints together, but the dark and the light tones work. I’ve learned not to be afraid to mix and match some of my pieces, so that I can create as much mileage in my closet as possible. I topped the outfit off with this studded headband to bring the camel color throughout.

This is an outfit you can count on! No matter what brands are in your closet, you can create this combo! Doesn’t this just look effortless and easy? Well guess what, it was! It only took a couple of minutes to throw on and go, and the best part is is that there was no ironing or steaming involved. I can’t believe I haven’t paired these two pieces together before!

Who else is loving the headband trend?! To be honest, this is my first time wearing one since about the 8th grade, and I am digging it. My coworker wears one almost everyday, and they always complete her look. I’ve linked this one above, so you can try out the trend if you haven’t already! Shop some of my other favorites below!
P.S. My jeans are on sale and quite a few sizes left! I’d recommend sizing up.

Happy Monday, friends! I told y’all I’d have another white dress to share, and well, here it is! This is another consignment find from a local Dallas store called To Be Continued. Y’all know I love a deal, and I got a deal! I found a similar dress online for you to shop. Everything else is linked too!
Have a great week!
“Are those the sneakers that come dirty and cost a lot of money?” Why yes, they are. My roommate’s boyfriend asked this, and I get his point. I exclaimed, “Do you see these details?” It seems a little ridiculous that these sneakers are distressed and dingy before you even wear them, but I love them even still. If you don’t want to pay full price (and I understand why), consignment is a great option for you. And to be honest, they already look worn, so no one will even know you weren’t the first to wear them. I linked lots of options below!
Hope you have a great weekend!!

I don’t love wearing tons of layers. That’s why I will never survive somewhere that’s average winter temperature is in the 30’s. I can handle it on occasion but prefer the South’s mild winters. This past weekend, my mom and I visited my brother in Chicago, and Lord have mercy!!! It was eight degrees when we landed. I had to buy a new coat because the one I brought (heaviest I own) wouldn’t suffice.
Last week in Dallas it dipped into the 30’s, and I immediately grabbed this cozy sweater dress. Call me crazy for having bare legs, but this beats the plaid skirt I wore everyday to school growing up. I layered this shearling lined denim jacket to bear the cold. This was the comfiest look for the coldest day!
Thanks for stopping by!

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and a fun New Year’s Eve! These past couple of weeks in Tennessee with family and friends allowed for some much needed downtime and home-cooked meals. While in Memphis, I decided to do a little something different with my hair. I’ve always kept it all one length, but this time I decided to add a little dimension with layers. This may sound silly because well, this is a normal thing for most people. I also hadn’t cut my hair in over a year, so it needed help desperately. I’ve had fun styling these fresh ends!
What’s something new you’re trying this year?

I hope you had a wonderful weekend!! I sure did! Henry was in town, and of course we ate lots of great meals and tried to bare the 100 degree heat. Saturday lunch was at the Porch, one of Henry’s absolute favorites, and then we ventured to HG Supply on Lower Greenville for dinner. After church we had a quick bite at East Hampton, another Henry Shepherd staple, before he hit the road. A relaxing weekend is just what the doctor ordered, only next time I wish he could stay longer.
I know I get on here and always have a new obsession, but this one is FUR REAL. These leopard sneakers are a new staple for me! I love the ruggedness and edge they add to any outfit. This weekend I paired them with a sundress which was perfect for our afternoon ride on the Bird Scooters. And, if you haven’t ridden those yet, hop to it!
P.S. My sneakers are on sale, so get them while they’re hot!
I love a printed sneaker! Y’all have seen me wear my leopard platforms many of times, so I thought I’d share some of my favorites out right now. They can act as a neutral or a statement depending on how you style them. Do you see a pattern? I’m loving animal print and stars. Send me pictures of you in your statement sneakers!!
