If you checked out my Instagram story yesterday, you got a sneak peek of this look. I’m loving this jumpsuit: the way it accentuates my waist, its comfort and volume and its ruffle and embroidery detailing. I must say it’s not bra friendly. The back is cut in a “v,” so you either need to layer (like I did) or wear a sticky bra.

If this jumpsuit isn’t right for you, I’ve found some other great options linked above. Remember to follow me in the Like to Know it app, so that you can shop all of my Instagram photos immediately!

Smocked

Did your mom make you wear smocked dresses when you were little? Oh mine did! I even wore dresses that my grandmother smocked. I remember hating them when I would play on the playground and trip on my long dress. I wish I had appreciated them then because I’m definitely dressing my future children this way.

Things have officially come full circle as I am back to wearing long smocked dresses. I could’ve guessed this would happen because mom is usually right.

Fringed Sweater

And so the mad shopping begins! On just about every site, you can find almost anything on sale. Of course, Neimans doesn’t mark down your favorite Gucci purse, but we don’t get everything we want.

The fringed sweater I am wearing is a great deal. It’s only $21 and can be layered over collared shirts and under heavy coats. The fringe along the hem makes the sweater unique, and so I had to have it.

Also, for those of you who haven’t visited the Big River Crossing, you must! It showcases a wonderful view of our wonderful city.
