My everyday necklace stack

I have been asked a few times recently about the three necklaces I wear everyday, so I thought I would share this with everyone! I’m a very sentimental person, so naturally each piece holds meaning and memories.

First, I received the pearl necklace from my parents when I graduated from the 6th grade. All of my childhood friends were heading in different directions as we started new schools, but we all held a special bond. Then my parents gifted me the silver diamond necklace when I graduated from high school. This necklace represents a wonderful childhood in Memphis, and the change that was ahead, college. Lastly, Henry gave me the gold diamond necklace that I spotted in an Austin, TX boutique, and he surprised me with it on our one year anniversary. I’ve realized that he’s always listening even when I think he’s not!

And YES, they get tangled, so if you have any nifty tricks to keep this from happening, I’m all ears!

In this week’s Friday Finds, I’m going to share some necklaces that I think would be great for layering, so that you can create your own everyday stack. Be on the look out!

The necklaces I wear hold meaning, and rarely do I take them off. I can’t help but be a sentimental person! My parents gave me the pearl necklace when I graduated from Christ Methodist Day School in the 6th grade. Then they gave me the diamond necklace for my high school graduation. I received the gold pendant from Henry our senior year at SMU, and I don’t think I’ve taken it off once. These pieces of jewelry mark special moments in my life and times of great transition.

Speaking of transitions – grab your favorite sweater, and pair it with a pleated skirt for the perfect transitional look. It may be February, but temps have been in the 70s here. Find the perfect balance with a sweater and skirt combo.
