I am SO excited to share this Arianne Elmy dress with you guys! The comfortable yet flattering fit, the metallic threading and, of course, the floral print create such a fun combination for the perfect party dress. I wore this Christmas day as we feasted and opened presents – the best all-you-can-eat dress (ha!)! I’m thrilled to share the discount code, SANFORDSTANDARD, that will give you 10% off your purchase. For reference, I’m wearing a size small but could’ve sized down and still achieved an oversized fit. Who wants to match the fall leaves with me?! Henry said that if he had to describe my outfit in one word, it would be “fall,” so I definitely achieved what I was going for. We didn’t get such a beautiful crisp fall in Dallas like we have here in Chicago, and because of that, I’m going to fully embrace it.
I love that there are so many ways to style this skirt, so be on the lookout for more fall-toned color combos. Until then, I hope you have a great start to your week and feel inspired by the changing leaves!

I usually go for brighter prints and patterns in the summer, but something about this navy garden toile caught my eye! Maybe because I have nothing like it… plus you can’t beat the price! How fab is it paired with my new Miron Crosby python boots?! I never would’ve thought a pair of cowboy boots would become a wardrobe staple for me, but since I added these to my closet, I’ve worn them with everything from denim shorts, to mini dresses and midi dresses. The neutral color allows me to pair them with almost everything! If you’re thinking of adding an investment piece to your wardrobe, make sure you choose an item that gives you some versatility.
Thanks for popping by! XO, MS

We were back in Texas for thanksgiving, and my oh my, did it feel good! And it wasn’t just because of the warm temperature. The south definitely feels like home to us.
Because of COVID, we didn’t get to have an engagement party in Houston, so Henry’s mom thought it would be fun to host a party while we were there! I loved getting to meet all of their favorite people and seeing those we hadn’t seen since the wedding. And of course, I love an opportunity to dress up.
I wore this rust colored dress that I got in Savannah this summer. It felt like the ultimate Thanksgiving piece, and I paired it with these cowboy boots Henry gave me years ago. I hadn’t worn these boots in awhile, but I’m pretty sure I wore them everyday while we were there. It just felt right! I accessorized the outfit with a pair of my favorite pearl hoops. They are a little heavy, so I ordered these patches off of Amazon to support my earlobes. Sounds weird, but they actually work!
I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and are getting into the Christmas spirit! Our tree is decorated, and we’ve got Christmas music on repeat!
