Today’s post is a combination of old pieces that I put together to create a new look. These are all classic pieces that you should keep in your wardrobe. A chambray top is something you can wear any season and with any bottom. The camel vest is the perfect layering item to complete all fall and winter outfits, adding style but not bulk. And of course, every girl must own a tweed skirt.
I did receive this vintage Chanel brooch for Christmas that I’m excited to style. Adding it to this outfit, completed the classic and timeless look.

A chambray shirt can do wonders for your closet. Not only does it go with everything, and I mean everything – even that dressy pleated skirt you have hanging up, but it is also transeasonal.
Imagine yourself on a brisk fall day wearing skinny jeans, knee high boots, a plaid blanket scarf and this perfect chambray. You can even throw a cable knit sweater on top for extra warmth. While it may be too warm to be dreaming of chunky layers, you’ll also see me wearing this button down with my favorite distressed white flares and a cognac heel – a classic spring/summer go-to.
