Happy Wednesday, friends, and go Astros! Henry has converted me into a ‘Stros fan, and here I am wearing bright orange for them! This week my life is devoted to the World Series as they try to clench the title again.
You saw this sweater styled a little differently back in April. Today I added my go-to silk scarf and these ivory booties as we head into cooler temperatures here in Dallas. Recreate this look by shopping the links above!
Happy Friday, friends! Fall is officially here and so are fall trends. Today, I’m highlighting two of my favorite trends this season: camel and animal print. Booties are a must-have shoe of the season, so why not incorporate these two trends in your shoe collection?! Almost all of these booties come in different textures and prints if you want to see more!

I love elevating a look with a pair of booties. They give you height, spunk and texture that a flat can’t give you and a tall boot would overkill. A pair of tan suede booties is the ultimate transeasonal staple. There is no doubt you will wear this shoe over and over.
Add a trendy pair to your closet this season by including a patent, print or velvet to liven up a fall look. Picture this: a black chunky sweater, black distressed skinny jeans and an animal printed bootie. What a cool look! How about a boho printed dress with an olive suede bootie? These shoes will take you from day to night, no problem!

We finally had our first couple of chilly days in Dallas, which allowed me to break out a sweater and boots! This week, I’m highlighting some of my favorite booties of the season at every price point. Be sure to have staples that go with every look and trend pieces too. Velvet, sock booties and block heels… Try it all!

Today I am headed to New York with my mom, and I can only imagine the walking we are going to do. I’ve decided to focus this week’s Friday Finds on the most comfortable shoes going into Fall. You don’t just need comfortable shoes in NYC, so I’ve pulled a few that we will need for those days when we don’t want to try too hard but don’t want to wear our tennis shoes either.
Vince Warren Slip-On
First up is the Vince slip-on. These come in all the coveted fabrics and colors of fall including olive satin and pink velvet. These shoes have been all the rage the last couple of years, but I love the height Vince has added.
Rebecca Minkoff Sammi Slide
This shoe is made for the times you are feeling a little more daring. These slides will be perfect for a legging and sweater combo.
Loeffler Randall Jasper Tassel Oxford
I love a great oxford – I’m sure you can tell considering I wear my snakeskin oxfords quite regularly. I picture myself wearing this shoe with a slim ankle length black trouser and a crew neck sweater. This shoe speaks “put together J. Crew” to me.
Paul Green Logan Bootie
Comfort is key when it comes to wearing a bootie. If they are too tight, your foot feels claustrophobic. If they are too big, you feel like a clown. Or at least I do. I love the colors this Paul Green bootie comes in. I envision you wearing this bootie with distressed jeans and a plaid button down, but that’s just me.
Vince Bray Loafer
Vince has done it again. Add a velvet loafer to your business casual or casual wardrobe. This shoe is something you can work into your daily rotation.
Thanks for stopping by, and happy Friday!

This romper is one of my favorite purchases of the last year! Get to shopping, gals.
This week I’m in Key Largo, so the leather jacket isn’t needed. I’m going to pair this with my white tuxedo vest and heels.

I’m a huge fan of this sweater dress. It’s easy yet warm and goes with everything. I’ve worn it to dinner with heels, around town with booties and with Adidas to class. Add varying accessories to create different looks. I’ll let you know what other combinations I create!
